May HappeningsPat Mehrtens bought herself a new scanner. With this she has been able to make prints of some of the glass negatives and then photocopy them. Several were displayed this month. George Zifchock has kindly volunteered his services as grass cutter. Members are looking into acquiring a lawn mower to be kept at the BH&PS for George to use. The lack of member turn out at summer meetings due to vacations was discussed this month. A motion to cancel July's meeting was passed. We'll see you in August. Treasurer Lapierre informed us that there are currently 85 active members. A copy machine and an answering machine were installed at the BH&PS. The web site domain name has been paid for two years. It is www.bhps.org Pat Mehrtens made note of "On Frozen Pond," a one hour video by Cathi Wheater, to be aired on PBS in June of 2002 is being filmed here at the BH&PS. |
