After the business meeting, the Society will hold a genealogy workshop. Our vice president, Denice Mitchell, an active member of the Rhode Island Genealogical Society, will make the presentation assisted by Mabel Hopkins, also an avid genealogist. This workshop will be interesting to beginners as well as persons more experienced in researching their family tree. You will learn where and how to start your research and also how to fill out charts and family sheets. If you have already started working on your family tree, bring in your charts and family sheets. The Society’s genealogical research materials will be open and available to the public at 6:30 pm (an hour before the meeting).
